Patches work!, Sep 19, 2009

I have smoked for 25 years and have tried every thing to stop.
The patches work, they will keep you calm and able to function normaly.
I smoked 25 cigs a day. I used the #1 patch for two weeks, the #2 patch for a month, and the #3 patch for a month.
I have been patch/cig free for two months now and dont even think about it. I feel healthy and have so much more energy. Im so pleased with knowing that i will never have the need to smoke again.
I did it...so can you.

EASY QUIT!, Jan 04, 2008

I gave my New Years resolution to quit smoking. Started Habitrol and have only had a few very minor cravings that are easy to resist. I was afraid to quit because of stress & overeating, but I'm going to try acupressure for those problems. The quitting smoking was nothing with these patches. If I miss the habit part (hands and mouth) I suck on a straw, a sucker or write, which isn't a big deal at all. Buy these if you're serious about quitting and quit being afraid to try. It's very easy. I smoked a pack a day, it may be harder for those who smoke more than that. |

stop smoking patch, Jul 22, 2007

My husband finds the Habitrol patch not as effective as he had hoped. He previously smoked almost 2 packs per day. He wears the patch, but still has severe cravings for cigarettes. He will even take the patch off, have a smoke, then reapply. Anyone else out there having the same problem, please write and share any suggestions you might have. |

Buy The Correct Number 1,2,or 3, May 19, 2005

I have been on the program for 3 weeks. #1 for 2 weeks, and #2 for 2 weeks. Went to Walmart to buy my #2 box and decided to buy the next step in the system. I got a #1 box. Big mistake. Should have been a #3 box. Now I have a #1 box that I can't use, you see: the state of Washington will not let you exchange or refund anything with nictone in it. Walmart would not exchange my #1 for a #3. I wanted to smoke. Instead because the program is working so well, I got in line and bought a #3. Now that is dedication. REMEMBER TO CHECK THE # on your box.

20 years of smoking, quit in 3 days!, Mar 01, 2005

I bought 3 boxes of patches: Step 1, 2 and 3. Each box had 14 patches in it. I used step one patch for 3 days, removing it before bed time.
I noticed I was NOT having nicotine cravings by day 2. Day 4, I did not put on a patch. I no longer smoke, and I no longer use the patch!
I feel like a prisoner set free! Do it it works! Thank god! I smoked for 20 years!
PS I was a true addict by the way, tried the gum, it didn't work that great. The patch kicks ass! |
