Mixes well, but awful aftertaste., Dec 10, 2009

I\'ve only tried the vanilla. The aftertaste is very potent when mixed with water. With fruit juice or with pureed fruit mixed in it is tolerable. The consistency is quite thin as well, not much thicker than water. On the plus side, it\'s a good quality protein and it mixes well in a matter of seconds. For the price, I will buy again.

ive tried chcolate , berry blast , gourmet , vanilla, abd butter cream toffee mix. and trust me i like none of these .taste suks :< i had good reviews of butter toffee but dint like tht too..
il go for cafe mocha hope it would be good. |

I've been using this for several months and I can't say enough about how good this tastes. Most shakes I've had were OK in the beginning, then after using for several weeks, I got really sick of the after taste.
I've tried Vanilla and Mocha. Both of these taste great, but Vanilla is the best b/c it mixes well with just about any fruit. I usually make it with 1/2 cup milk, 1 cup ice, banana, and cinnamon.
This stuff is the best. |

| Dymatize Elite Whey Protein has been the best protein I have ever tasted in my experience. I have tried others, including pre-made mypolex, myoplex powder, other pre-med proteins and GNC products. Dymatize tastes much better and mixes more easily with additives like fruit and peanut butter. It packs a decent amount of protein with a limited amount of fats and carbs. Plus, it is affordable online. I would recommend this product to anyone who has never taken a protein supplement or even someone just considering this protein. You get a lot of bang for your buck. |

| The product is good...it mixes well with not only water but also with hot and cold foods, it seems to digest well and the price is fair. The only downside, and this is a big one for me, is the chemical aftertaste. (I have heard the same comments from others on the web as well). I have only tried the Vanilla flavor which I can't drink on its own but rather I have to mix it with other proteins or another food to mask the aftertaste. I have used many protein powders over the past 10+ years and know that there are better "tasting" ones. If the manufacturer could tweek the taste, this product would be a real winner. |
